+1.5 in September - Going for 10-15K in October

Aight young fellows.

Obviously not happy with 1.5K/month, however i feel ok about it after beeing down 5K early september.

I'm very optimistic about october. I'll try to play about 1000 games in the 110s and 220s at FTP. 10-15K should be guaranteed if i mange to reduce tilt to a minimum.

Here is a 35 min session at FTP, enjoy.

how many tables do you play? just one? or do you multitable?

Hey stef.
At FTP i typically only play 1 table now. The action is so fast that it onlu takes about 7-8 hours to play play 50 turbo games.

When i played at pokerstars i typically played 2 tables.

I feel its more fun to play 1 table.

Many winning players are often playing 1-2 and sometimes 3 tables. ;ost of them would make about the same hour/profit by only 1-tabling i think, because 1-tabling gives better win rate and its more fun to play, less chance to get burend out, less auto piloting, less tilting etc.
I believe livb112 made most of he's money by 1-tabling 5500 turbo at FTP.
It's and individual thing i guess. I'm sure 1-tabling is the best fit to my personality.

Thanks for the quick reply, I have been struggling to get even at the 11s turbos on PS and most of the people recommend me playing 2 tables. But I feel much better only playing one table, so I will stick to that. Any more tips about beating the 11s?

I have switched from 6 max to HU because I do like to play way less auto pilot style, playing 6max felt almost like doing a "job".

at 11's i recomend to never bluff big. Just make c-bets and stabs and slow down when called. Raise 60-70% of hands from SB 2x or 3x pre, limp or fold the rest. Only call with decent hands when opponent is 3xing from button. It's ok to call with marginal hands when button is min-raising, but you gotta fold the terrile hands like J2off 72s 46off etc. Only 3-bet very strong hands like big pockets and AK AQ.
Dont re-match decent/good players.
Shove Ax any pocket, and a solid king at 50/100 level always, except when youre playing against a passive fish that you can grind down.
Always shove or call a shove with Ax and any pocket in BB at 50/100+ unless youre playing against a passive nitty fish.

Against agro players 3-bet shove wide from BB at 50/100+ and at 25/50 when short. K2 and QT QJ etc is good enough against very agro players that is raiseing every button when youre <15 big blinds.

Dont be afraid to value bet big at river when checked to. Lets say you got top pair with bad kicker vs a station that has called you down all the way to the river and you think your top pair is good, and he might call a big river bet. Then go all in with the rest of it on river. Can't be afraid to lose. Gotta value bet max when your hand its good most of the time.

It's typically ok to call down for stacks at level 1 with top pair vs a guy that seems to be somewhat agro/bluffy.

Never play back at and try to re-bluff agro fish when you are card dead. Sometimes you will be blinded out, but thats just BAD LUCK. Playing back at an maniac is BAD PLAY.
You can craush 11s by just stabing and valuebetting strong hands.

Thanks again, this seems like some very sensible advice, I was playing almost 90% of the hands from the button so I will cut down on it a bit. And what % of the flops do you cbet? mine is atm very close to 90%, with only checking on board with a lot of high cards and flush draws.
Oh and I slow down with cbets vs calling stations ofc.

don't multi table until your beating the game at a good clip. Learn and have decisions become 2nd nature. limping and taking stabs is key to being beating low stakes games for the most part imo

how to enlarge your videos?

Hi Aurimas. Thanks for your interest in my FullTiltPoker videos.

I recomend to zoom in your browser to get a larger video image. If you're using internet explorer you see the zoom down to the right. Other kinds of internet browser should allow you to increase (zoom) the image.

I think you gotta change your c-bet play a bit. In fact its better to c-bet flops with many high cards, becase you got more fold equity then. After all you repped an high card pre flop.
Don't worry too much about flush and str8 draws on the board, in heads up your opponent won't have any strong draw that often. In full table games with 4 players after the flop you gotta protect your hands on a drawy board. In heads up however its way less likely to be drawn out. (even though it happens all the time of course)

dRies: Keep it up.
